At Collective Liberty, our key model is disruption. We harness data, invent disruption strategies that work, and put those strategies into the hands of those who can make a difference: YOU.

Trafficking is a complex problem with many types. By taking on each type one at a time and breaking down how each trafficking model works, we can come up with strategies that lead to eradicating each type of trafficking, one by one.

“If you have come here to help me, then you are wasting your time… But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.” – Aboriginal Activists Group, Queensland, 1970

To do this, we start with in-depth research and data analysis. From there, we develop innovative, disruptive tactics — from new litigation approaches, to innovative law and code enforcement tactics, to targeted policy change that makes it difficult for traffickers to operate their illicit businesses. Then we train and empower those doing on-the-ground work to put these tactics into action, all the while continuously learning from those on the front lines to improve and refine the approach.

Unfortunately, traffickers adapt quickly. This means we must be even quicker, and present a united front — working tirelessly across industries and agencies to create system changes that close in on traffickers from multiple angles at once.
